About
Smedley Toastmasters Club was formed in Sri Lanka in 2004.The name was chosen in honor of the founder of Toastmasters Dr Ralph C. Smedley.
Smedley Toastmasters Club has been supporting to develop the speaking and leadership needs of its members for over 14 successful years. During which the Club has produced the likes of Humorous speaking champion 2014. All Island Best Speakers 2007 and 2011, Table Topic Speech/ Evaluations Champion 2016, District and Divisional Leaders of Toastmasters International.

We are especially proud to be the Home club to the World Champion of Public Speaking 2014 and the International President of Toastmasters International 2017/2018.

We share a unique culture not seen anywhere else, which stands as the SMEDLEY CULTURE. Ensnaring and captivating its members with Energy, Commitment and Want for Personal Growth unparalleled.

The Club conducts its regular educational meetings every 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at the Royal College Skill Centre, level 3. The meeting commences at 5.30 PM with fellowship. To join us you simply need to contact us via email to reserve a seat at our next meeting.
